How Social Technologies Saved the Story

Allvoices?

I think I've heard about AllVoices in the past, but stumbled across it recently and wondered what folks thought about it.

It looks like a citizen journalist site where those inclined to report, do so. Why not join an I-Report extension of an existing media outlet instead?

Any thoughts and opinions on this is welcome.

Permalink Reply by Digidave on November 7, 2008 at 1:24pm: I am familiar with All Voices - and NowPublic. I've met the teams behind each site. Both are interesting. NowPublic got about 10 million in VentureCapital - AllVoices has a bit more but is newer and therefore less well known.

Both have been acquiring other properties. NowPublic bought Treumors (which is the stupidiest purchase ever) and I know AllVoices is looking at smaller CJ sites to buy as well.; ▶ Reply to This
