I'm currently at the btween conference in Liverpool, where I'll be updating on The Modern Journalist. There's loads of interesting folks here all looking at how you can tell stories in new ways. Very few of them believe that the story is best suited by a single, directed source.
However, there is a wide range of thoughts on how to do that and what it means. In other words, it's not just a Shirky world (and I use him having read mostly his short stuff, not his book yet so I'm probably doing him a disservice) where the crowd engages from multiple angles.
I expect to hear some very smart things tomorrow. What smart things have you heard?
