Robert Scoble, the always-on net evangelist, has been having a series of discussions on Facebook about the real-time web, a concept that blends the interactivity of a chat room discussion with your social network.
One of the best examples of this is over at FriendFeed, where people can launch discussions, have conversations, archive and search them. (Here is my feed.)
There are tremendous possibilities here -- if you can get a conversation going. It's already helped me tremendously with my writing. You can go in and debate your points any time of day.
Leaving out the business side of things, though, I'm interested in this: does that require too much time and investment? Does the real-time web offer something only for the most active users?
