2 Books To Read -- What Are Your Recommendations?

I just finished reading The Wisdom of Crowds and Groundswell -- and after finishing them, I think I have a much more concrete idea of what it takes to build communities online.

I've been involved with this for several years, at least on the outside, but these books really quantified and qualified what it takes to do such a thing.

If you're interested, I have relatively exhaustive reviews (with happy bold points for skimming), but honestly, these are worth the read.

Now, they aren't targeting news sites -- which is why I have my little reviews -- but the stories are truly amazing to read.

Who else has read good books lately?

Not at all related; but for me summer means working at work and reading at home books unrelated to work.

A Separate Peace -- again.

the curious incident of the dog in the night-time (Brad: If you haven't read it. You would dig it methinks for several reasons .. of which you are keen enough to know)

And then there are the couple books you have recommended that I need to get my brain wrapped around.

Kozol is my favorite writer. I've read that book every year at least once since I was in the 11th grade.

The Dog book - I keep seeing it. Anyone want to trade books with me? Sounds like I should read that.

Er, Jonathan Knowles -- as Chris pointed out. Kozol wrote Savage Inequalities.

The problem with multi-tasking when you are old, tired and it's late at night. You have room for just one strand. Instead of focusing, I decide to make the multi-conversations into one.
