I write about the Internet and technology at the San Antonio Express-News.
Previously, I worked at Interactive Week Magazine, until it went belly up during the dot com crash. And prior to that, I worked as a technology columnist and specialty writer at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
I love to write about how people use technology and the social and business implications of emerging technologies.
But I'm also interested in everything going on around the world.
My specialties include Web design, HTML, blogginh, podcasting and vlogging, radio and TV.

Yeah, I have the main investigative sites -- that's part of that Google search I posted -- I'm actually very interested in what is happening with the two questions:
where is the best stuff happening and how can technology be used/useful. I don't think it's just business models. And maybe the answer is: tech isn't all that helpful in this (or certain) types of journalism.
Honestly, I don't know.
I grew up reading things like Mother Jones and Utne Reader -- and having the Berkeley folks around, they kind of send me what they think is important.
But I think you hit on a point that lots of people -- and I know lots of folks here -- are struggling with:
What is the best journalism, where is it and how do we do it in a modern world.
I think you're on to a topic that would be of interest at the very least to me, you and the three start up folks on the list (plus the enquirer folks and the denver post guys).
Oh, you brought up a good point about IJ -- and I started to write and realized, this should be it's own topic. I have a limited knowledge on IJ. I think this could also spur a great conversation.
Hahahaha! That's funny. Spread the word -- but don't forget we'd all love to hear your perspective as well. The Wisdom of Crowds means everyone's voice is important.
Brad,
I'm not a troll. That's just a bad picture. :-) Seriously, though, I've been covering Startup Weekend San Antonio all weekend.
But I plan to spread the word about your site.

Thankfully, I teach college now so I have enough time to get on down there when I have time off.
Don't forget to let us know your thoughts. Trolling is more than fine. Talking is better ;)
